SPRINGFIELD — Springfield Police arrested a local man on charges of first-degree aggravated domestic assault, unlawful restraint, and interference with access to emergency services.
The incident, assigned incident number 25SF000810, occurred at 2:42 p.m. on Feb. 28.
Officers Lewis-Briere, Clark, and Singleton responded to a report of a possible domestic disturbance.
Following an investigation, Dustin Burgess, 22, of Springfield, was taken into custody.
Burgess was given a criminal citation to appear at the Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, Windsor Unit, on March 3 at 12:30 p.m.
He received conditions of release and was lodged at Southern State Correctional Facility.
