CORTLANDVILLE — A man was arrested early Monday for allegedly trespassing at the Cortland Motel.
Officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint around 12:24 a.m. at 3832 State Route 11.
Authorities reported that the suspect, identified as 35-year-old James D. Wright, unlawfully entered a motel room on April 6 by forcibly opening the door.
Wright, who resides in the Town of Cortlandville, was located and arrested on charges of second-degree criminal trespass and fourth-degree criminal mischief.
He was processed at the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office and released on appearance tickets.
Wright is scheduled to appear in the Town of Cortlandville Court for arraignment on April 28 at 1:00 p.m.
