LOWELL — Lowell Police Department’s Special Investigation Section detectives, assisted by NEMLEC SWAT, executed a search warrant today in the Lower Belvidere neighborhood.
The operation resulted in the seizure of three firearms, five large capacity magazines, a gun cleaning kit, and 96 counterfeit Oxycodone pills.
Authorities also confiscated two end-tied bags of crack cocaine and $3,759 in cash, alongside other items linked to the manufacturing and distribution of narcotics.
An adult male was arrested in connection with the investigation.
He faces charges including illegal possession of a Class B substance, possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute, and improper storage of a firearm.
The individual is also charged with unlawful possession of a large capacity feeding device, unlawful possession of a firearm without a license, unlawful possession of ammunition, use of a firearm while committing a felony, and being an armed career criminal.
