CUYLER — A Cincinnatus man was arrested on multiple charges following a single-car crash in the town of Cuyler on April 2.
Officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash on Cuyler Hill Road at approximately 8:23 p.m. and determined that the driver, identified as 43-year-old Damon L. Harris, was operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
Harris, of Suarez Road, was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and several infractions including having an uninspected and unregistered motor vehicle, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, moving from lane unsafely, and speed not reasonable and prudent.
Harris was arrested at 8:39 p.m. and transported to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office for processing.
He was arraigned through the centralized arraignment process on April 3 at 9:00 a.m. and released on his own recognizance.
Harris is scheduled to appear in the town of Cuyler Court on April 8 at 5:00 p.m.
