LYNDON — The Vermont State Police are investigating a case of petit larceny after a theft was reported on Sheldon Brook Road.
The theft occurred around 4:45 p.m. on April 7, when an unknown individual parked their vehicle in front of the home of Eric Wyatt and abducted his nine-year-old Black and Tan Coonhound from the front lawn.
The suspect then left the scene with the dog.
Wyatt, 49, who resides in Lyndon, reported the incident to the Vermont State Police at approximately 5:12 p.m.
Authorities are seeking assistance from the public to identify the suspect.
