ST. ALBANS — A Morristown woman was arrested Saturday night after state police discovered she was wanted on an extraditable warrant from Florida.
Rachel Hogan, 40, was a passenger in a vehicle stopped for a traffic violation on Fairfax Road at approximately 8:52 p.m. on April 5.
During the traffic stop, Vermont State Police troopers determined Hogan had an active warrant from Florida for charges equivalent to grand larceny in Vermont.
After confirming with Florida authorities, troopers took Hogan into custody and transported her to the St. Albans Barracks for processing.
Hogan was issued a citation to appear in Franklin County Superior Court on April 7 at 1 p.m. to answer to the fugitive from justice charge.
