WARWICK — Rhode Island State Police arrested a 21-year-old West Warwick woman following a wrong-way crash on Route 295 North in Warwick.
Bianca Valle of 35 Tanglewood Drive was arrested at 8:15 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence of liquor (first offense), refusal to submit to a chemical test, and reckless driving.
Troopers transported Valle to the State Police Wickford Barracks for processing, where she was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released to a responsible adult with a future court date in Third Division District Court.
PROVIDENCE — At 1:00 a.m., troopers arrested Jose Canales, 35, of Providence, for providing false information to 911.
The arrest followed an investigation into a false 911 call on Smith Street in Providence.
Canales, who resides at 512 Smith Street, Apt. 1, was processed at the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Sixth Division District Court date.
NORTH KINGSTOWN — Troopers arrested Marc Monteiro, 30, of Johnston, at 1:15 a.m. following a traffic stop on Route 138 West in North Kingstown.
Monteiro, of 4 Hill Drive, was charged with driving under the influence of liquor (first offense) and refusal to submit to a chemical test.
He was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks and later released from Kent Hospital with a future Third Division District Court date.
