MAYFIELD — A fully-involved structure fire on Knott Road in the Town of Mayfield prompted a multi-agency response Sunday at 11:09 a.m.

The Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company was dispatched to the scene after what was initially reported as a garage fire for the Mayfield Fire Department was upgraded to a fully-involved residential structure fire.

Pleasant Square Fire Company and Berkshire Volunteer Fire Department were also summoned to assist at the scene.

The Meco Volunteer Fire Company was asked to stand by at their station, while Northville stood by for Mayfield.

Police and Lake Valley EMS responded to the incident, along with the Fulton County Emergency Management Office.

Broadalbin-Kennyetto Fire Company members established a water source for tankers transporting water to the fire location.

The Perth Volunteer Fire Company was also called for mutual aid, while Galway covered for Broadalbin and Hagaman covered for Perth.

After clearing the fire scene, Perth stood by at Broadalbin’s station, allowing Galway to be released from standby duties.
