ALBANY — A vehicle’s automatic crash detection technology summoned emergency crews to a rollover accident Sunday afternoon in Albany.

Vermont State Police, Albany Fire Department and Orleans Ambulance were dispatched just before 3 p.m. to what was initially reported as a crash at the intersection of Vermont Route 14 and Pleasant View Drive.

Emergency crews were unable to locate the accident at the reported intersection.

Police later redirected responders to an area about a half-mile south, near 725 Route 14 South, where they found a vehicle that had flipped over.

Minor injuries were reported in the single-vehicle crash.

Ray’s Auto removed the vehicle from the scene, and emergency personnel cleared the area shortly after 4 p.m.

State police continue to investigate the circumstances of the rollover, and this report will be updated as more information becomes available.
