West Warwick woman arrested on multiple vehicle-related charges

WEST WARWICK — Rhode Island State Police arrested a West Warwick woman on multiple charges related to vehicle identification tampering and possession of stolen property following an investigation at her residence.

Kassondra Gregelevich, 32, of 27 Turner Drive, was arrested at 11:30 a.m. after troopers executed a court-authorized search warrant at her home.

Gregelevich faces eight charges including three counts of alteration of vehicle identification numbers, tampering with odometer, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of stolen vehicle parts, forgery and counterfeiting, conspiracy, giving false document to a public official, and obstructing a police officer in execution of duty.

She was processed at the State Police Wickford Barracks, arraigned before a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future court date in Third Division District Court.

In a separate incident, troopers arrested Jesse Baldwin, 19, of Middletown, Connecticut, at 1:17 a.m. on a charge of reckless driving.

Baldwin was apprehended after West Greenwich Police located him on Nooseneck Hill Road after he allegedly fled from a traffic stop initiated by state troopers.

He was processed at the Wickford Barracks, arraigned, and released pending a future appearance in Third Division District Court.
