HARTLAND — Vermont State Police arrested a woman on drug possession and driving with a suspended license charges after finding her unconscious behind the wheel at the Exit 9 Park & Ride.
Troopers responded to a motor vehicle complaint at approximately 8:40 a.m. on April 5 at the Hartland park and ride location.
Upon arrival, officers identified the operator as Tanya Boisvert, 41, who is listed as transient within Vermont.
Investigation revealed Boisvert was driving with a criminally suspended license and was in possession of crack cocaine and fentanyl, according to police.
Boisvert was arrested and transported to the Royalton Barracks for processing.
She was issued a citation to appear in Windsor County Superior Court, Criminal Division at 8:30 a.m. on May 27 to answer to the charges.
Police indicated additional charges are pending.
