SALEM — Everett police executed several search warrants at a residential location on Aborn Street in Salem at approximately 6:45 a.m. Friday, April 4.
The Everett Police Special Criminal Investigations Unit led an investigation in conjunction with the Salem Police Department into drug trafficking activities occurring in the greater Boston area.
Court authorized search warrants were applied for and granted from the Salem District Court.
As a result of the investigation, Victor Mercedes of Aborn Street in Salem was arrested and charged with trafficking cocaine over 200 grams.
$1,000 in cash along with drug distribution equipment was also seized.
