Framingham man faces drug charges after traffic stop

1 min read

FRAMINGHAM — A 57-year-old Framingham man is facing multiple drug charges after a routine traffic stop led to the discovery of illegal substances, according to police.

The incident began when Framingham Police Housing Officer Jamie Lewis conducted a traffic stop that resulted in initial drug charges.

A subsequent search warrant was executed at the suspect’s residence by the Community Impact Unit and K-9 Unit, working alongside the Housing Officer.

The search uncovered additional amounts of a class B substance and shut down what authorities described as a sales and distribution operation.

The man has been charged with two counts of possession with intent to distribute a class B substance, failure to stop for police, and operating with a suspended license.

The investigation was a collaborative effort between multiple units within the Framingham Police Department.
