CLIFTON PARK — Saratoga County Sheriff’s deputies discovered a body in a vehicle at Bernini Park Friday morning after responding to a welfare check call.
The call came in at 7:16 a.m. on April 4, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies found a vehicle with a sign in its window suggesting the sole occupant may be deceased as a result of a chemically-assisted suicide.
Local fire departments and hazmat crews were called to assist at the scene.
The Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
Officials stated there is no danger to the public.
