LEWISTON — Lewiston police seized substantial quantities of illegal drugs and multiple firearms during a search warrant execution earlier this week, authorities said Friday.
The search, conducted at 77 Birch St. #5, was part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation.
Officers confiscated 35.6 grams of fentanyl, 30.6 grams of heroin, and 136 grams of methamphetamine during the operation.
Police also seized three firearms and $1,512 in cash.
Jarid Wheelock, 29, of Auburn, was charged with three counts of aggravated trafficking.
Quentin Herring, 45, of California, faces three counts of aggravated trafficking and illegal possession of a firearm.
The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Drug Enforcement Administration assisted with the investigation.
