ST. JOHNSBURY — A local man was arrested Wednesday morning on an out-of-state warrant, according to police.
Anthony E. Albright, 37, of St. Johnsbury, was taken into custody at 10:35 a.m. by officers of the St. Johnsbury Police Department.
Albright was wanted on an active and extraditable warrant from New Hampshire for failure to appear at an arraignment on charges of possession of stolen property.
The arrest was made without incident, police said.
Albright was transported to Caledonia Superior Court for a hearing at 12:30 p.m. the same day.
He is being held without bail while awaiting extradition to New Hampshire.
