WINDSOR LOCKS — Police responded to reports of shots fired at a residence on Seymour Road Wednesday night.
The Windsor Locks Police Department received a call about possible gunfire at 10 Seymour Road around 11 p.m. on April 2.
Adults at the residence claimed unknown males attempted to rob them for reasons that remain unclear, according to police.
The residents reported that as the suspects fled, they fired multiple rounds at the house.
Investigators determined the projectiles were “simunitions,” which are essentially paintballs, and did not penetrate the home.
No injuries were reported in the incident.
Police said the complainants have been “uncooperative and inconsistent” during the preliminary investigation.
Authorities noted they are familiar with this address from previous incidents.
The investigation remains ongoing, according to the Windsor Locks Police Department.
