LINCOLN — Rhode Island State Police arrested three individuals in separate incidents over a 24-hour period, according to officials.
On Wednesday at 6 a.m., troopers arrested Heriberto Rivera, 32, of Providence, on charges of larceny over $1,500 from a person aged 65 or older and conspiracy.
The arrest stemmed from a barracks investigation and locating Rivera at his Donelson Street residence.
Rivera was processed at State Police Headquarters and arraigned at the Sixth Division District Court.
Later that day at 9:03 p.m., troopers arrested Jade M. Gomes, 29, of Pawtucket, following a motor vehicle stop on Lonsdale Avenue.
Gomes faces charges of driving under the influence of liquor with a child passenger under 13 years old and refusal to submit to a chemical test, both first offenses.
After processing at Lincoln Woods Barracks, Gomes was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a notice to appear in Sixth Division District Court.
In a third incident on Thursday at 12:54 a.m., troopers arrested Andres Gomez, 32, of Cranston, during a motor vehicle stop on Calder Street in Providence.
Gomez was charged with possession of marijuana over 2 ounces and obstruction of an officer in execution of his duties.
He was processed at Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending morning arraignment as a bail violator in Sixth Division District Court.
