PENN YAN — Police arrested a juvenile offender following threats made to the Penn Yan Central School District on Tuesday, April 1.
The juvenile was charged with two counts of making a terroristic threat, according to the Penn Yan Police Department.
Authorities issued an appearance ticket for the juvenile to appear at Yates County Probation to address the charges.
The arrest came after threats were received by the school district on Tuesday.
No further details about the nature of the threats were released.
