Milford man charged in $25,000 equipment theft from Milton CAT

MILFORD — The Milford Police Department arrested a former Milton CAT employee after recovering a stolen piece of equipment valued at more than $25,000.

On Monday, March 17, Milford police responded to Milton CAT at 100 Quarry Dr. for a reported equipment larceny.

Company representatives reported that an “Engine Roll Over Stand” worth approximately $25,358 had gone missing from their headquarters.

On Monday, March 31, Milford Police detectives, working in cooperation with Milton CAT, determined that John Denaro, 48, a former Milton CAT employee, had stolen the high-value tool.

The following day, Tuesday, April 1, Milford Police detectives located and recovered the tool at Denaro’s residence.

Denaro has been charged with larceny over $1,200.
