FINE — State Police arrested three individuals on April 2 for criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree after a traffic stop revealed a stolen trailer.
Justin J. Caiazzo, 47, from Russell, NY; Erin E. Roberts, 48, from Star Lake, NY; and Angela P. Soldo, 35, from Gouverneur, NY, were taken into custody following the incident.
At approximately 5:00 p.m., Troopers responded to State Route 58 in the town of Fine to assist the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department with a traffic stop.
Investigation revealed that a 2019 Honda motor trailer in the suspects’ possession had been reported stolen from State Police Watertown.
A deputy patrolling State Route 58 initially observed the stolen trailer and initiated the traffic stop.
Troopers arrived at the scene and interviewed the driver, Soldo, along with passengers Caiazzo and Roberts.
All three occupants were transported to SP Gouverneur for processing.
They were subsequently arraigned in the Town of Fowler Court and released on their own recognizance.
