EAST MONTPELIER — Vermont State Police discovered a stolen camper while responding to a domestic disturbance call on Clark Road Wednesday morning.
Troopers from the Berlin Barracks arrested Nathaniel Cliche, 37, of East Montpelier, on charges of possession of stolen property and domestic assault.
The camper belonged to Karl Bissex, 75, of Plainfield, according to police.
Authorities responded to the Clark Road location after receiving a report of a domestic disturbance involving Cliche.
During their investigation at the scene, troopers located the stolen camper.
Cliche was found shortly afterward and taken into custody.
He was transported to the Berlin Barracks for processing.
