SOUTHBOROUGH — Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on Framingham Road at approximately 7:12 p.m. Monday, where they found an unoccupied vehicle with heavy front-end damage crashed into a utility pole.

Officers determined the vehicle had been reported stolen from Dudley on March 30.

While investigating the crash scene, a resident of Overlook Drive called to report a suspicious vehicle parked in their area with an operator described as wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and a black face mask.

The description of the suspicious vehicle matched the crashed vehicle found on Framingham Road.

Southborough Police conducted a search of the area with assistance from a Westborough Police drone unit and a K-9 officer from Framingham Police Department.

The suspect was not located, and Southborough officers had to clear the scene to respond to an active domestic disturbance elsewhere.

The Southborough Detective Division is investigating the stolen motor vehicle incident.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Southborough Police Detective Unit at (508) 485-2121.
