AUBURN — The Auburn Police Department is requesting public assistance regarding a suspicious house fire that occurred at 44 Walnut St. on March 24.
A person of interest was captured on a neighbor’s camera approaching the area around 2 a.m., then departing approximately five minutes later.
The individual was seen carrying what appears to be a bag, arriving from and departing in a westerly direction.
Detective Charles Augello is handling the investigation and seeking information to identify or track the movement of the person of interest.
