SCITUATE — A Massachusetts man turned himself in Tuesday on an obstruction warrant at the State Police Scituate Barracks.
Gabriel Rodriguez, 39, of Newton, was arrested at 11:10 a.m. on an active arrest warrant, according to state police.
The arrest stemmed from a barracks investigation, after which Rodriguez voluntarily surrendered to authorities.
Rodriguez, who resides at 17 Irving Street in Newton, was processed, photographed and transported to Sixth District Court for arraignment.
In a separate incident later that day, troopers arrested Michael Bellanti, 42, of Bellingham, at 4:15 p.m.
Bellanti, of 40 Pickering Avenue, faces charges of violation of no contact order—second offense (two counts) and possession of a Schedule I-V controlled substance.
