WARWICK — A driver sustained only minor injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Athol Road thanks to seat belt use and air bag deployment, according to the Friends of Warwick Police Department.
The operator was cited for marked lanes violation and texting while driving.
Authorities did not release the name of the driver or specify when the crash occurred.
Police emphasized that proper safety restraints likely prevented more serious injuries in the incident.
