Broome County Sheriff’s Office seeks public help in locating wanted man

BINGHAMTON — The Broome County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Adam Murphy, who is wanted on an outstanding warrant for Grand Larceny 3rd degree.

Murphy is described as a white male standing 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds.

He has brown hair and green eyes, according to authorities.

The Sheriff’s Office issued the warrant on April 2, with the most recent photo of Murphy dating from Oct. 15, 2024.

Officials are asking anyone with information on Murphy’s whereabouts to contact the Broome County Sheriff’s Office.
