Bronx woman arrested on drug charges in LaGrange

LAGRANGE — A Bronx woman was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop on the Taconic State Parkway in LaGrange, State Police said.

Angelica M. Vivo, 27, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th degree, a class D felony, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, a class A misdemeanor.

The arrest occurred on March 30 when a trooper from SP Poughkeepsie stopped Vivo’s 2024 Toyota after observing multiple vehicle and traffic law violations.

During the investigation, the trooper discovered approximately 9.2 grams of cocaine in Vivo’s possession, according to police.

Vivo was processed at SP Poughkeepsie and released on an appearance ticket.

She is scheduled to appear in Town of LaGrange Court on April 1 at 5 p.m.
