FREDONIA — An eight-month narcotics investigation concluded Tuesday with four arrests and the seizure of multiple drugs, including more than 280 grams of methamphetamine.
The investigation, conducted by narcotics investigators from the Dunkirk Police Department, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and Jamestown Police Department, focused on narcotics activity spreading from Dunkirk to Fredonia.
Officers from the Dunkirk Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Rt. 60 in the Town of Dunkirk at approximately 10 a.m. Tuesday, apprehending Altarique Mitchell.
Shortly after, officers from multiple agencies executed a search warrant at 52 Maple Ave. in Fredonia, where they found Arriell L. Catalano, Tynell J. Tolbert and Rojonique E. Walker.
The search of both the residence and Mitchell’s vehicle yielded 280.27 grams of methamphetamine, 53.42 grams of crack cocaine, 7.53 grams of powder cocaine, 35 dosage units of Suboxone, and hydrocodone pills.
Authorities also seized scales, packaging materials for drug distribution, and $5,719 in U.S. currency.
All four suspects face multiple charges including Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree.
Walker was also wanted on outstanding warrants from Cheektowaga and Depew.
All suspects were transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for the Centralized Arraignment Program.
