WATERVILLE — A 36-year-old Waterville man was arrested and charged with grand larceny after allegedly making unauthorized charges on a victim’s credit card, according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office.

Joel Bugbee faces a class E felony charge of fourth-degree grand larceny following an investigation that began in early January.

The case originated when road patrol deputies took a larceny complaint from a victim who reported unauthorized charges on their credit card, Sheriff Robert M. Maciol said.

Due to the nature of the case, it was transferred to an investigator in the Criminal Investigations Unit.

Bugbee was processed at the Law Enforcement Building and issued an appearance ticket returnable to Waterville Court at a later date.
