ST. JOHNSBURY — A 64-year-old local man faces criminal charges after allegedly threatening to kill a minor and starting an altercation with the child’s father, according to police.
Robert Turcotte of St. Johnsbury was arrested on March 30 at approximately 4:14 p.m. following a report of an active altercation, St. Johnsbury Police Department officials said.
Officers responded to the scene and after investigation determined that Turcotte had threatened the minor before engaging in a confrontation with the child’s father.
Turcotte was charged with criminal threatening and aggravated disorderly conduct.
He was processed at the police station and later released with a citation to appear in Caledonia Court on May 12.
