MILFORD — Milford police arrested an 18-year-old man Monday after responding to a report of a disturbance involving a firearm.
Officers were called to the scene at approximately 3:25 p.m. when the Milford Public Safety Communications Center received a report of three males and one female involved in an incident with a firearm.
When patrol officers arrived, the suspects fled into a nearby residence.
During their investigation, Milford Police detectives and patrol officers discovered a Walther PPQ 9MM firearm and a high capacity 9MM magazine containing full metal jacket ammunition.
Kevin Batista, 18, of Milford, was arrested and transported to Milford Police Department Headquarters for booking.
Batista was held on $7,500 bail and transported to Worcester House of Corrections pending arraignment.
He faces charges of possessing ammunition without an FID card, possessing a large capacity firearm, and possessing a firearm without an FID card.
