WILTON — The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Troy man Sunday after responding to an active larceny call at Walmart in Wilton.
Timothy R. Gelling, 40, was arrested at 5:36 p.m. on March 31 and charged with burglary in the 3rd degree, a class D felony, and petit larceny, a class A misdemeanor.
According to authorities, Gelling is accused of knowingly entering and remaining unlawfully in the store with intent to commit a crime after having been previously banned from the business.
Investigators say Gelling also stole merchandise from the store during the incident.
Gelling was arraigned before the Honorable David R. Towne and released to pretrial services pending further proceedings.
