MORETOWN — Vermont State Police arrested a Moretown man on suspicion of driving under the influence following a single-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon.

Troopers responded to Jones Brook Road around 4:27 p.m. on March 31 where they found a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado with substantial damage.

The driver, identified as Seth Naikus, 32, of Moretown, suffered minor, non-life-threatening injuries in the crash.

While speaking with Naikus, officers detected signs of impairment, according to police.

Naikus was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Berlin State Police Barracks for processing.

He was later released with a citation to appear in Washington County Superior Court, Criminal Division on April 17 at 8:30 a.m.

The crash occurred on wet gravel road conditions under clear skies, police said.
