Woman arrested in Rockingham as fugitive from justice

ROCKINGHAM — Vermont State Police arrested a White River Junction woman Sunday after discovering she was wanted on two extraditable warrants from New Hampshire.

Troopers from the Westminster Barracks responded to a call about a woman on Interstate 91 near Exit 6 in Rockingham at approximately 12:03 p.m. on March 30.

Upon arrival, officers located Crystal Morey, 37, on the interstate.

Further investigation revealed Morey had two active extraditable warrants from New Hampshire, according to police.

Morey was transported to the Westminster Barracks for processing on fugitive from justice charges.

Judge John Tredwell ordered Morey held on $5,000 bail.

She is scheduled to be arraigned in Windham County Criminal Court at 1:30 p.m. on March 31.
