HAVERHILL — Police are searching for a missing 72-year-old man who was last seen Thursday morning near Northern Essex Community College.
Michael Maguire was last spotted in the area of Elliot Street and Shattuck Road wearing a red and black checkered jacket, brown scally cap, jeans and work boots, according to the Haverhill Police Department.
Authorities have classified Maguire as missing and endangered.
Maguire is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with brown and gray hair and brown eyes.
Police believe he may be heading to the Byfield area.
Anyone with information about Maguire’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Haverhill Police Department immediately.
