GEORGIA — Vermont State Police arrested a 60-year-old Georgia woman Sunday afternoon after she allegedly assaulted and threatened a household member with a firearm.
Audrey Hinckley was taken into custody around 3:51 p.m. on March 30 following a report of a potential assault at 3812 Highbridge Rd.
Investigation revealed Hinckley had physically assaulted a 70-year-old household member, including strangulation, according to police.
Authorities also determined Hinckley had threatened the victim’s life with a firearm.
Hinckley was transported to the St. Albans State Police Barracks for processing and issued a citation for first-degree aggravated domestic assault and criminal threatening.
The name of the victim was not released in accordance with Vermont State Police policy regarding victims of domestic violence.
