Connecticut man arrested after Richmond hit-and-run

RICHMOND — A Connecticut man was arrested Sunday night following a hit-and-run accident on Route 95 in Richmond.

Troopers from the Hope Valley Barracks arrested Jahleel E. Rogers, 27, of New Britain, Connecticut, at 10:58 p.m. on March 30.

Rogers was charged with duty to stop in accident resulting in damage to attended vehicle.

The arrest stemmed from a motor vehicle accident investigation and subsequent traffic stop on Route 95.

Rogers was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks where he was processed and arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.

He was released with a future court date in Fourth District Court.
