BATAVIA — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 14-year-old girl who ran away from home last week.
Za’mya Starks was last seen on March 28 in Batavia, according to the Batavia Police Department.
She was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue sweatpants with a white stripe at the time of her disappearance.
Za’mya is approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs about 150 pounds, and has dark brown hair and brown eyes.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact the Batavia Police Department at 585-345-6350 or the New York State Missing Persons Clearinghouse at 1-800-346-3543.
Tips can also be submitted through the Batavia Police Department website by clicking the “submit a tip” button.
The teen was last seen in the area of Jackson Street in Batavia.
