Police seek public’s help identifying Granby shoplifting suspect

GRANBY — The Granby Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a shoplifting incident at Geisslers Supermarket on Bank Street.

The theft occurred March 30 at approximately 2 p.m., when an unknown white male entered the store and shoplifted a large quantity of groceries, including a significant amount of shrimp.

The suspect is described as having dark hair, a full beard, and visible tattoos on both hands.

He was wearing a grey hooded Nike sweatshirt and light-colored pants at the time of the incident.

Police describe the man as having a heavier build and standing between 5’11” and 6’1″ tall.

The suspect fled the scene in a black sedan of unknown make or model with unknown registration plates.
