LINCOLN — Rhode Island authorities arrested three men on March 27 in separate cases involving drug trafficking and child pornography charges, according to state police.

Adrian Vasquez, 18, of Central Falls, was arrested by members of the Computer Crimes Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force for possession of child pornography.

Vasquez was processed at the Lincoln Barracks and arraigned in Providence County District Court by Judge Capraro, who set $2,000 surety bail with conditions prohibiting unsupervised contact with minors and restricting internet access.

In a separate operation, members of the HIDTA Task Force, assisted by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service Providence Office, arrested William Navedo Crespo, 41, of Cranston, on multiple drug charges.

Crespo faces charges including possession with intent to deliver over 1 kilogram of cocaine, possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, distribution of controlled substances near a school zone, and controlled substance conspiracy.

After processing at the Lincoln Barracks and special arraignment by a Justice of the Peace, Crespo was transferred to the ACI Intake Center pending morning arraignment in Sixth Division District Court.

In a related case, authorities also arrested Julio Osorio, 38, of Warwick, on identical drug trafficking charges.

Osorio was similarly processed and held at the ACI Intake Center awaiting arraignment in Sixth Division District Court.
