RANDOLPH — A Waterbury man was arrested on an active warrant during a routine traffic stop on Interstate 89 Southbound near Exit 4 in Randolph.
At approximately 8:40 a.m. on March 28, Vermont State Police troopers from the Royalton Barracks pulled over a vehicle after observing a traffic offense.
The driver identified himself as David S. Lewis, 48, of Waterbury.
During the stop, troopers discovered Lewis had an active in-state arrest warrant.
After confirming his identity and the warrant details, troopers arrested Lewis without incident.
Lewis was transported to Windsor County Superior Court following his arrest.
