HAVERSTRAW — State Police Troop F Bureau of Criminal Investigation arrested a Stony Point man on charges related to child sexual exploitation on March 25.
Benjamin Kreinen, 69, of Stony Point, was charged with Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child Less than 16, a Class E Felony.
Kreinen is accused of possessing and having access to approximately 10,000 images and videos consistent with child sexual exploitation.
The arrest follows a proactive investigation by the Troop F Computer Crimes Unit in collaboration with Troop F BCI in Haverstraw.
Investigators executed a search warrant at Kreinen’s residence in Stony Point in February.
Kreinen was released and issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Stony Point Court on April 15 at 1:30 p.m.
