CRANSTON — Troopers arrested Jhonatan Mercedes Francisco, 38, of Providence, for possession of cocaine following a motor vehicle stop early Friday.
The arrest occurred at 12:12 a.m. on Route 10 in Cranston, according to Rhode Island State Police.
Mercedes Francisco, of 43 Burrows Street, was charged with possession of a Schedule I-V controlled substance – 10 grams or less.
He was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace, and released with a future Third Division District Court arraignment date.
