GENEVA — Members of the Geneva Police Department and Ontario County SWAT team executed a high-risk search warrant at 380 South Main Street at approximately 5 a.m. Friday, resulting in the arrest of two convicted felons.
The search warrant followed a months-long investigation initiated by civilian complaints, according to police.
Officers discovered a large quantity of crack cocaine, ecstasy pills, and approximately $800 during the search of an apartment.
Loyd Kennedy, 36, of Rochester, and Heather Ann Hilligus, 42, of Geneva, were arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, a class B felony.
No injuries were reported during the execution of the search warrant.
Both suspects were processed at the Geneva Police Department and transported to the Ontario County Jail for arraignment.
Due to New York State Bail Reform and the decision of the presiding CAP court judge, both defendants were released to reappear at a later date.
The Geneva Police Department acknowledged assistance from the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office and the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office in the investigation and execution of the search warrant.
