Woman arrested on drug charges in Little Valley

LITTLE VALLEY — A 29-year-old East Otto woman was arrested Tuesday night on drug charges following a larceny investigation at a local convenience store.

Pearl N. Guerin was charged with criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the second degree, a Class A misdemeanor, and criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell in the third degree, a Class B felony, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said the charges stemmed from a vehicle search conducted around 9:12 p.m. while investigating complaints of a larceny at the Crosby’s store in Little Valley.

During the search, Guerin was allegedly found in possession of suspected fentanyl, cocaine, Suboxone, scales, and packaging materials.

Guerin was processed and taken to Little Valley Court, where she was released.
