SPENCER — A local man was arrested Wednesday while allegedly driving a stolen vehicle, according to police.
Brett Cordeiro, 29, of Spencer, was taken into custody by Spencer Police on March 26 at 11 a.m.
Authorities say Cordeiro has been linked to three separate car thefts reported in the town.
Police reminded residents that Cordeiro is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The arrest comes amid ongoing concerns about vehicle thefts in the area.
Authorities are urging residents to lock their vehicles, remove valuables, and never leave keys inside unattended cars.
