SOUTH PORTLAND — South Portland police are investigating a death after responding to a wellbeing check at a Mussey Street residence Wednesday afternoon.
Officers discovered a deceased male inside the home at 213 Mussey Street after receiving a call at approximately 1:55 p.m. on March 26.
The South Portland Police Department requested assistance from the Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit, which has sent detectives to the scene.
Authorities have stated there is no danger to the public.
The investigation is ongoing, and police officials said they will not be making additional comments at this time.
