MARYLAND — A Milford man was arrested Monday after allegedly violating a temporary order of protection in the Town of Maryland, according to the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office.
Jacob L. Morley, 41, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt following an investigation by sheriff’s deputies.
Authorities said Morley contacted a person who was protected under a no-contact order, directly violating the terms of the protection order.
Morley was released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Maryland Town Court at a later date.
