HAMDEN — Three men were arrested Monday after police seized four loaded handguns and a large quantity of narcotics during a raid at a Hamden residence.
The arrests followed an ongoing investigation by the Middletown Police Department’s Street Crime Unit into suspects believed to be involved in shooting incidents and narcotics dealing throughout Middletown.
Middletown detectives and patrol officers, assisted by Hamden police, executed a search warrant at 29 Saint Mary Street, Unit 1 in Hamden at 10 a.m. Monday.
Officers discovered four loaded handguns, two of which were fully automatic and two that had been reported stolen, according to police.
The search also yielded numerous high-capacity magazines and large quantities of heroin, fentanyl, crack cocaine and methamphetamine.
Darrell Allick Sr., 42, was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell and operating a drug factory.
He was held on $100,000 bond.
Darrell Allick Jr., 20, faces multiple charges including criminal possession of a firearm, possession of a pistol without a permit, possession of a machine gun, possession of high-capacity magazines, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell and operating a drug factory.
His bond was set at $500,000.
Tyrese Allick, 20, was charged with possession of a firearm without a permit, possession of a machine gun, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell and operating a drug factory.
He was held on $250,000 bond.
All three suspects, residents of the Hamden address, are scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Tuesday.
